Seeds: Green Acres catches spring fever with new Rocklin nursery
Nothing motivates Sacramento gardeners like a warm day in late winter.
With recent temperatures in the 70s, we’re in a planting mood. That same spring fever prompted the owners of Green Acres Nursery & Supply to go into overdrive and open their newest Rocklin location three weeks early.
With little fanfare, the Sacramento-based, family-owned chain welcomed eager customers to its fifth nursery within minutes of passing its final inspections on Feb. 24, said spokeswoman Tami Kint.

Kellie gets the springtime blues
